Effectiveness of learning is determined by:

  1. 10% is induced by knowledge transfer.
This is the classic way of teaching.
The mediation course offers the required knowledge (legal, sociological and psychological insights) and skills (communication, negotiation)
  2. 20% is induced by practicing the theory with feedback. Examples include case discussions and role plays.
The mediation training ensures extensive and intensive discussion of the experience gained through extensive case discussions and role plays.
  3. 70% is induced and therefore effectively integrated and applied by applying ‘on the job’ with guidance and appropriate feedback.
Within the framework of intervision, supervision and continuous training, the opportunity is offered to discuss, evaluate and deepen experiences from one’s own practice.

The Mastering Mediation Class is fully in the 70% learning zone!

Mediation in Action

General Information & Location

This training is only suitable for motivated participants!

The Mastering Mediation Class focuses on already accredited mediators.

There are two reasons why we organize a Mastering Mediation Class:

  1. There is an oversupply of recognized mediators in Flanders. There are enough conflict situations, but Belgians prefer – despite being informed about mediation – a classic approach with a lawyer and court. As a result, only a limited number of accredited mediators are given the opportunity to gain experience. As a result, a significant number of recognized mediators are inactive.
  2. There is a lack of confidence in the effectiveness of mediation. Customers need positive experiences. With the quality label we offer sustainable solutions as a mediator.

With the Mastering Mediation Class we wish to develop mediators with a solid level of quality that future clients

will feel comfortable with. Just say a quality label.

After gaining sufficient experience, we wish to include the graduates in our professional network of mediators via ‘Dispute Resolution’ and ‘Samen in Bemiddeling’. In this group we want to actively support each other, refer each other, offer expertise, etc.

To participate it is necessary to find yourself in our mediation vision. Take a look at our mediation basic module.
